Updating the system software

Windows Update for Windows Mobile lets

you download security updates and other

important updates to the Windows Mobile

operating system software on your

smartphone.

1 Press Start and select Settings.

2 Select the System tab, and then select

Windows Update.

3 On the Update Setup screen, press

Next (right softkey).

4 Select whether you want to run

Windows Update manually or you want

it to check for updates automatically,

and press Next (right softkey).

5 If you selected automatic updates,

check the Use my data plan to check

for and download updates box if you

want to use your data plan instead of

your basic wireless plan to update your

To change the settings for one of the

displayed wireless features, press Settings

(right softkey) and select the wireless feature

you want to change.
